The Wright Brothers – two self taught bicycle manufacturers who, on a beach at the dawn are struggling to invent manned flight… Charles Lindbergh – a reclusive outsider who –against all the odds - races to become the first person to fly solo across the Atlantic….and Amelia Earhart – cultural icon, activist and pioneer; her epic final flight transformed her into a legend… 

A phenomenal cast star in this limited 10 week run, including: Sally Ann Triplett (Guys and Dolls, Chicago)as Amelia Earhart, Ian Bartholomew (Into the Woods, The Iceman Cometh) as George Putnam, Sam Kenyon (Sweeney Todd; Watermill/West End, Jerry Springer: The Opera) as Wilbur Wright, Elliot Levey (His Dark Materials; National) as Orville Wright, Michael Jibson (Our House- Olivier Award nominee Best Actor) as Charles Lindbergh and Clive Carter (Phantom of the Opera, We Will Rock You) as Otto Lillienthal.

Richard Maltby and David Shire have written many shows together including Closer Than Ever; Starting Here, Starting Now and Baby. Individually, David Shire is an Oscar-winning film score composer (All The President's Men, Norma Rae and, most recently, Zodiac). Richard Maltby wrote the lyrics for Miss Saigon and devised and directed Ain’t Misbehavin' (Tony Award – Best Director) and Fosse. John Weidman is a long-time Sondheim collaborator, having written the book for Assassins, Pacific Overtures and Bounce.
