Midnight At The Never Get

July - September 2026

About The Show

1965, New York City. Trevor Copeland and Arthur Brightman’s love is against the law.

In their secret nightclub act, “Midnight”, they perform love songs in an act of defiance of a world that demands they stay hidden. As tensions rise at the start of a historic movement, Trevor and Arthur are torn between their own surreptitious romance, and the oncoming storm of social revolution.

Starring Tony and Grammy Award-winner Ben Platt (Dear Evan Hansen), and written by Golden Globe and Grammy Award-winner Mark Sonnenblick (“Golden”, KPop Demon Hunters), MIDNIGHT AT THE NEVER GET comes to the Menier for a strictly limited season in a brand new production directed by Drama Desk and Tony Award-winner David Cromer (The Band’s Visit).

MIDNIGHT AT THE NEVER GET opens at the Menier Chocolate Factory on 20 July, with previews from 11 July, and runs until 12 September 2026.

Conceived by Sam Bolen, Max Friedman, and Mark Sonnenblick.
