Getting Here
By Tube
To get to the Menier Chocolate Factory by tube, you can take the Jubilee or Northern line to London Bridge Underground Station. From there, take the Borough High Street exit, then continue straight until you reach Southwark Street. Turn right onto Southwark Street and continue walking until you reach the Menier Chocolate Factory, which will be on your left-hand side.
The walk from the station takes approximately 5-7 minutes.
By Car
If you are planning to drive to the Menier Chocolate Factory, please note that the theatre is located in the congestion charge zone, and there is limited on-street parking available in the area. However, there are several car parks nearby, including the NCP Car Park on Kipling Street and the Union Car Park on Great Suffolk Street.
Please allow plenty of time to find parking and make your way to the theatre, especially during peak traffic times.
By Train
If you are planning on getting the train to Menier Chocolate Factory then we recommend going directly to London Bridge train station. From there it is a short 5-7 minute walk.
When exiting the station, follow the signs to Borough Market and take a left on Southwark Street to find the theatre.
Venue Information
Accessibility
We are committed to providing a welcoming and accessible environment for all customers. The theatre has step-free access to the foyer and bar area, as well an accessible toilet in the foyer. The theatre also has spaces for non-transferable wheelchairs available in the auditorium upon request. Customers with access requirements can book their tickets through the theatre’s access line.
Theatre Seating Arrangements
We offer a unique theatre experience with an intimate and flexible seating arrangement. Customers can select their preferred seats when booking tickets, and the theatre staff are happy to assist with any special seating requests or accessibility requirements.
Refunds and Exchange Policies
If a customer is unable to attend the performance they have booked for, they may be able to exchange their ticket for another performance of the same show up to 48 hours prior to the performance, subject to availability. There are no refunds. However, you can protect your tickets by opting into the KXtickets Refund Protection programme and you’ll get a full refund in the event of:
- Inability to attend due to accident, bodily injury or illness.
- Death of a member of the Customers party or an immediate family member.
- Transit Delay including breakdown or failure of transport whilst travelling to the event.
- Strikes, Riots, Civil Commotion, Martial Law
- Adverse weather including snow, fog, frost or storm preventing attendance at the venue.

In the event of a performance being cancelled, customers will be offered: the full purchase cost of the ticket to be refunded via the original payment method; a refund to credit that is valid for 1 year from the date of issue; an exchange for another performance at the Menier Chocolate Factory.
Cloakroom and Bag Storage
We offer a free coat check and bag storage service for customers during performances. The cloakroom is located in the entrance to the theatre and is open before and during performances. Customers should note that the cloakroom may have limited capacity, so it is recommended to arrive early to ensure availability.
Latecomers Policy
We have a strict late seating policy to ensure the comfort and enjoyment of all customers. Latecomers may not be admitted into the auditorium. To avoid any issues with late seating, customers are advised to arrive at the theatre at least 30 minutes before the performance starts. The theatre staff are happy to assist with any questions or concerns regarding the late seating policy, and work hard to ensure a smooth and enjoyable theatre experience for all customers.
Food & Drink
Our restaurant is currently closed.
Our theatre bar offers a variety of sweet and savoury treats, including chocolate, popcorn, wine, beer and soft drinks. If a production includes an interval, customers can pre-order their refreshments for this. We accept cash and card payments.
Security
Menier Chocolate Factory takes the safety and security of its customers seriously and has measures in place to ensure a safe and enjoyable theatre experience. Customers are advised to arrive early to allow time for the security procedures. In addition, the theatre has a range of safety features, including emergency exits, fire alarms, and first aid facilities.
